Ray of Sunshine Membership
In fostering and strengthening the internal community portion of our mission, we’ve created the Ray of Sunshine Membership Program for alumni vendors. Ray of Sunshine Membership Offerings:
Early Access: As a Ray of Sunshine Member you’ll get an email with 24 hour advance notice when we open new market applications or announce new events. We like to book early, and while applying early isn’t necessarily ’first come first served’, you’re generally ‘first come first considered’ (especially for competitive categories- jewelry, candles, ceramics etc).
Community Forum: As a Ray of Sunshine Member you’ll get access to our private Facebook group for members only, a place to connect outside events, trade tips and tricks for events, share insight on events and more (ie: Has anyone tried XYZ market? Know a good event in San Diego? Anyone know any great stores taking new merchandise? etc).
Get linked: On our new website you’ll find our Meet Our Makers page, where we list all our past vendors as a resource to shoppers looking to shop small (or find that vendor they met at our last market!). Ray of Sunshine members will have their listing linked to their website (or Etsy shop) and their brand listed under dual categories if it’s applicable (ie you sell clothes and hand bags).
Be considered for our Meet The Maker: Maker Spotlight: On our new website you’ll find exciting new initiatives to help spread the word about our makers, the Maker Spotlight is our ‘soft editorial’ feature page where we do a monthly interview to get to better know some of our makers. We look for superlative work and folks we want to get to know better and share with the world.
